Happy Birthday, Steph. ❤️
For the last few years before you left us, your birthdays became such special days. I always had the pleasure of baking your birthday cake—a classic Victoria sponge for a truly classy lady.
Since you left, we've continued to celebrate you every single year. What started as a way to remember you has become a family tradition that I'm certain you'd absolutely love if you were still here with us.
Every year we gather together for a birthday picnic in the park. Picnic baskets are packed to the brim, the games come out—tug of war, giant Snakes and Ladders, dominoes—and, of course, we always raise a glass to you, sharing stories, laughing about the good times, and remembering the incredible woman you were.
Today will be no different. We'll all gather later and celebrate you, just as we always do.
You live on in so many ways through your family, and I know you'd be so incredibly proud of your tribe.
Julie is embarking on the huge adventure you both used to talk about all the time... and she's finally doing it.
Kelly has settled down in a place you would love, down south.
Nicole is living her dream in Canada.
Brett now has four beautiful babies.
Jake has become the most wonderful uncle.
Hollies has created a wonderful home of her own with logan
And Zack—your little boy—is living on his narrowboat, often wishing he could go to the boathouse with you just one more time.
Then there's the absolute apple of your eye, Logan. He's thriving at school, playing football for a prestigious team, and has grown into such a charming young man. He still talks about you as the brightest star in the sky.
I wish you were here to see it all. To see the lives you've helped shape, the love you've left behind, and the family that continues to carry you with them every single day.
You are so dearly loved, so deeply missed, and never, ever forgotten.
Happy Birthday, Steph. We'll raise a glass to you today. ❤️✨
