It was heartwarming to see so many come from near and far to offer their condolences and to those who have given her such wonderful support over the last difficult year, for which she is incredibly grateful.
Many thanks for your prayers, mass cards, sympathy cards, words of comfort and consolation, also for the beautiful floral tributes and very generous donations to Mesothelioma UK, currently standing in excess of £1000.
Special thanks to the Oncology, CTAU and Macmillan Units at Royal Derby Hospital and Mesothelioma Team at Glenfield Hospital, Leicester, for their care and attention over the last twelve months.
Finally, thank you to Wathall's Allestree for all their help at this difficult time, to Father Greg for a memorable service and to The Chevin Golf Club for their excellent catering.
