Audrey GilletTYLEYWith much sadness and also a celebration of a full-lived life, Audrey Gillet Tyley (nee Bateson), born 28th December 1929, died in Stepping Hill Hospital on 21st January 2021. Audrey was a much loved wife to David, mother and mother-in-law to Martin and Caroline and Grandmother to Jack, Samuel and Hannah. Audrey was a primary school teacher in Manchester for over 35 years teaching in Handforth, Wythenshawe, Longsight, Miles Platting and Beswick. Following her retirement Audrey was active in arts and crafts, in particular needlework, and was a regular participant in retired teachers meetings - and frequent proud placed finalist and winner at the Disley show.
