Peacefully at the "Fellingate Care Centre" on 20th December 2023 aged 85years.

Albert dearly loved husband of the late Margaret and late son Albert John (Albie). Beloved Stepfather of Linda, Sandra and Bobby and Stepfather-in-Law to their partners Peter, Stephen and Lesley and Sister-in-Law Christine. Much loved Grandad of Susan, Julie, Jordan and Curtis and sadly missed Great Grandad.

Can all Family and Friends please meet for funeral service at Saltwell Crematorium on Thursday 11th January at 1.45pm.

Everyone is welcome to return, for refreshments, to Felling Cricket Club, Heworth.

Family Flowers ONLY, however, donations are welcome for "Marie Curie UK" Co op Funeralcare

Grandad, I have fond memories of me and Julie running down the bank to greet you after you had finished a shift down the pit, and when you and Grandma used to babysit us on a Sat night and the three of us would sit upstairs and watch the Price is right whilst Grandma sat downstairs to watch a film. Funny memories of Erin and Heidi playing in your living room asking you to scratch their backs with the back scratcher...they were obsessed with that. I'll miss our chats about the old days and your 'say it how it is' attitude...always making me laugh.
I'll miss seeing you every week at the care home too, loved getting your little shopping bits in and sitting watching Bargain Buy :) as you called it.
