Florence WinifredWALKER'Flo' Peacefully at her home on Sunday, December 29, Florence Winifred Walker, known as Flo, aged 70, of Accrington. The devoted, much loved wife and soul mate of Malcolm, loved mam of Yonna, Lisia and Trina, cherished nana and greatnana, much loved sister and dear relative and good friend to many. Florence was a well known lady and had many good friends, her working life was spent as a machinist and she worked for many years at Nedlow Textiles in Oswaldtwistle where she was always a popular member of the working team. Florence loved a game of bingo and she always looked forward to her nights out at Empire Bingo Hall with her friends, she also loved to go out socialising locally. As a nana she was so proud and always looked forward to spending time with her grandchildren. A funeral service to celebrate Florence's life took place at Accrington Crematorium Chapel, at 1pm on Thursday, January 9, followed by interment at Dill Hall Lane Cemetery. Funeral director: Champ Funeral Services, Clayton-le-Moors.
