Alan GeorgeWALKERIt is with utter sadness to announce Alan has passed away at RSUH, on Monday 8th April 2024, aged 88 years. A treasured husband to Joan, a precious dad to Lynn and Robert, unforgettable grandad to Holly and Emma and a much loved friend to Pam, Alan, Rich and best man Harry. Alan was a dear friend and a devoted family man, may he rest in peace.
May the love he showed his family forever live on in their memories, his sense of humour, his love of being at home, close to the brook while feeding the birds and his true gentle nature never to be forgotten. Alan's funeral service is to be held on Tuesday 30th April 2024, at 1pm at The Old Chapel, Etruria ST1 5PE. Mourners are kindly asked to meet at the service, where they are warmly welcomed to stay for tea and coffee with the family, sharing stories and memories whilst Alan rests in the chapel, before dispersing.
