MauriceWALKERIt is with great sadness that the family announces the peaceful passing of Maurice Walker, aged 82, on Thursday 2nd January.
Maurice was the beloved Husband of Teresa, a loving Dad to Jackie, Michele, and Alan, and much loved Grandad to Gemma, Shannen, Mark, Jordan, and Eddie. He was also Great-Grandad to Henry and Rowan.
Beloved Brother, Uncle and Father-in-law.
Maurice will be deeply missed, and lovingly remembered by all his family and everyone that knew him.

The joint funeral for Maurice and his recently deceased wife Teresa
will be held at Blackley Cemetery Main Chapel on Friday 21st February at 10.30am.

Grandad, I don't know how to put into words the grief, pain, and heartbreak that I feel. So I will leave this poem here for you.


The day you left and gained your wings
My heart just broke in two
I wish you could have stayed
But Heaven needed you

You left me with the memories
And I love you dearly still
No matter how much time goes by
You know I always will

You were a very special person
With kindness in your heart
And the love we had together
Grows stronger now we're apart

I know I cannot bring you back
Although I wish it everyday
But a piece of me went with you
The day you went away
