ChristinaWALSHIt is with deep sorrow but immense gratitude for a life well-lived, we announce the passing of our beloved mother, grandmother and great grand-mother Christina Walsh (Chris).
Chris departed the world peacefully at the age of 97 years on 15th April 2026, at Lakeside Nursing Home where she had resided for the last four years.
Now reunited with her loving husband Ted Walsh.
She will be greatly missed by her loving children Andrew and Nicholas and dearest sister Val. Chris was a treasured mother-in-law to Anne and Debbie and a proud loving grandmother to Robyn, James, Rachel, Sarah, Natalie and their partners. She was also an adored great grandmother of Joe, Archie, Zelda and Nora and wonderful aunt and great aunt and friend to many. Her love of life and kindness will always be with us.
Rest in peace dear mother, you will be lovingly remembered and deeply missed.
A celebration of Chris's life will take place on Friday 8th May at 3.00 pm with a Requiem Mass at St Joseph's Roman Catholic Church, Cardiff, CF14 3BR, followed by committal at Thornhill Crematorium (Wenallt Chapel) at 4:30pm.
