RobertWARDMr Robert Ward, of Accrington, died on Tuesday, September 14, aged 83. Bob was a weaver/ warehouseman and retired from the John Lewis Partnership, Darwen in 2002. Robert was a keen artist and enjoyed crosswords and sudoku puzzles in his latter years. He served in the RAF as a radio operator in the late 1950s. Beloved husband to Audrey, a much loved step-dad to Lynda, the late Stephen, and Debra, wonderful grandad, great-grandad, and uncle. The funeral will be held on Tuesday, September 28, at 1.40pm at Accrington Crematorium, led by Neil Overton. Family flowers only please; donations if desired to RSPCA Altham.
