The obituary notice of John Lawrence WARD

I have treasured memories of Joh particularly whilst working at Devonport High School for Boys. He was a very active member of the PTA, always willing to help out and contribute effectively to the development and fund raising events.
I warmed to his dry sense of humour and his witty comments.
John and his wife Barbara became very good friends of mine helping me through some difficult times.
He will be sadly missed by all who knew him and especially his family who have my deepest sympathy at this difficult time.
Thank you John for all those times that you have cheered me up and made me laugh. Ron
