DennisWARDIt is with great sadness that the family announce that Dennis passed away peacefully at Nether Hall Care Home, on 12th January 2025, aged 88 years.

Devoted husband of Hazel, loving father of Mark and Tim, and treasured gramps and great-gramps.

Dennis will be sadly missed, but fondly remembered by many.

A service of thanksgiving will be held at St Mary The Virgin, Newton Solney, on Monday 17th February at 11:15am, followed by a private family committal.

Family flowers only please. Donations in memory of Dennis will support Nether Hall Care Home, and can be placed in the collection box at the service.

I would just like to say a huge thank you to all of the staff at Nether Hall for their patience, consideration, and brilliant care shown towards Dennis in the last months of his life. You all made the time for us as a family, and went over and above to address our questions and concerns. Particular thanks also for looking after Hazel so well whilst she spent her time there with Dennis. It was lovely to have representation from the home at the funeral today. With love from Steph (Dennis’ daughter-in-law), Mark, Jade/Will & Dylan. Keep up the good work.
