Robin GuyWATSONPassed away peacefully at Royal Derby Hospital on 7th October 2026 aged 57 years after a courageous battle with Mesothelioma. Beloved husband of Amanda, much loved father to Emma and dear friend to many.

The funeral is to take place on Friday 6th November 2026 at 12.30pm at Trent Valley Crematorium.

Flowers and donations are welcome from all. Donations can be left online or on the day in lieu of the Volunteers Fund at Royal Derby Hospital. Dress Code is do Rob proud - whatever this means to you.

Flowers to be sent to Co-op Funeralcare, Sinfin District Centre, Arleston Lane, Derby, DE24 3DS.

This news is such a shock and very sad news. I was a big mate with Robin at Normanton Junior School in the late 70s. I remember him then as such a kind and gentle friend and was a huge part of my childhood, cycling and waking to and from school together. We then sadly lost touch over the years but I've never forgotten him. Sending love and strength to his family. Clive Barraclough. X
