I am very sad at losing my friend Betty. I met her a few years ago through the WRAC Association. My aunt was a Japanese code-breaker at Bletchley so I was keen to learn more about Betty's time there. She was an extraordinary person and I feel so honoured to have known her. I will miss her.

I am honoured to have known Betty Webb since I was 7 years old when my mother started work at the Birmingham Law Society. Mrs Webb was the epitome of patriotism, who played a huge part in preserving the democracy we know today. We were planning to visit Bletchley together in the coming weeks. Sending love & thoughts to her family ❤️

I was truly honoured, humbled and delighted to meet Betty at HRH The King’s Coronation in May 2023. Betty and I became friends and I hugely valued our friendship and conversations over the last two years. She contributed so much to so many events and people throughout her long life, a remarkable and wonderful lady. I miss her and send my love to her and her family ❤️
