Ray passed away peacefully in St Marks Care Home on 25th September, aged 81 years.
Dear husband of Margaret, dear dad of Robert and special father-in-law of Alison. Ray will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him, including his many friends from his cycling and badminton circles.
Friends are invited to join Ray's family at his funeral service, which will take place on Tuesday 10th October at St Andrew's Church, Leam Lane, NE10 8HR at 2:30pm, followed by committal at Saltwell Crematorium at 3:15pm.
Flowers welcome, although donations if preferred in lieu of flowers will be received on the day with proceeds going to a charity of Ray's choice, in his memory.
All are welcome after the service to the Ravensworth Arms, NE11 0ER to continue celebrating Ray's life.
