It is with great sadness to announce the passing of Winnie, who died peacefully on Sunday 5th July aged 97 years. A beloved and devoted Mam to Bill, Pat, Norman, Paul, David & the late Robert. A cherished Grandmother and Great-Grandmother, a much loved Mother-in-law and a beloved Cousin, Auntie & Friend. She will be deeply missed and forever loved by all who knew her, but comfort is taken in knowing that she is now reunited with her beloved Husband, Abbey, after 46 years apart, and the other family members she loved and missed so dearly.
Please meet for a service at St Joseph's Church, North Shields on Tuesday 28th July at 1pm, followed by a burial at Preston Cemetery.
Family flowers only, donations in lieu on the day of the service to go to The Stroke Association. All are welcome to join the family after the service at North Shields Catholic Club, to further celebrate Winnie's life.
