RoyWHITEHEADUnexpectedly but peacefully at rest on 23rd November aged 86 years at the RSUH. Brother to Freda, Bertram and Aubrey and late Olwen and Betty, initially of Kimberley Road, Etruria. Emigrated to Australia after service with The Fleet Air Arm, to become a Officer in the Australia Air Force. Attended University and then became a Grammar School Teacher until retirement. Married to wife Maria (Australia) and father to two sons and two daughters, plus grandchildren. Roy became ill during a visit to the UK whilst with sister Freda. Funeral Service to take place at St. Mark's Church, Basford Park Road, Newcastle, on Tuesday November 29th, at 1.15pm, will all friends and relatives wishing to attend, please meet at the church.
