"We're only here for just a moment in the light. One day it shines for us, the next we're in the night."
"To die, to sleep. To sleep, perchance to dream. Ay, there's the rub! For in that sleep of death what dreams may come, when we have shuffled off this mortal coil, must give us pause."
Grief is a form of love, with nowhere for the feeling to go. All the love you want to give to someone, and you can't. It'll gather at the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat, and the hollow in your chest.
Grief is also the price we pay for love. Carrying it is a testament to those lost.
Memento mori, carpe diem.
