John JamesWHITFIELDJack On Sunday 15th October 2017 at his home. It is with deep sadness that Mrs Jean Whitfield and family announce the death of their wonderful and beloved husband, dad and grandad. A family funeral was held on Saturday 21st October, and he was buried in Helme Churchyard. Jack was a man of great integrity, patience and kindness, who has left an enormous void in our lives. Our thanks go out to all who cared for Jack in his final days, Dr Debra Rawcliffe, the excellent paramedics, the district nurses as well as carers who did their job with tenderness and respect. We thank also the staff at Radcliffe Funeral Service, Honley, for their tactful efficiency, and Rev. Charlene Smith for conducting the service beautifully and showing enormous sympathy throughout.
