John ColinWHITTINGHAMIt is with great sadness that the family announce the passing of Colin, peacefully at home, on Saturday 16th May 2026, aged 95 Years.
Retired Chief Tech, Royal Air Force, he was the devoted and loving husband of the late Doreen, much loved dad of Michael, Melanie, Paul & Stephen. Father-in-law to Carole, John, Tanya & Jane. Loving grandad of Janine, David, John, Luke, Molly, Jamie & Andrew. Great grandad to Jennifer, Anna, Emily, Kayleigh, Courtney, Hope, Roy, Hattie & Raife.
Dear brother-in-law to Margaret & Pete, and brother to the late Alan & June. A cherished uncle, and a respected friend and neighbour. He will be greatly missed by all.
A service to celebrate Colin's life will be held at Grimsby Crematorium on Friday 26th June 2026, at 11:15am.
Colin is resting at Kettle Funeralcare where floral tributes will be gratefully received or if so desired donations in Colin's memory may be given to the RAFA. There will also be a donation box in the gardens of remembrance following the service.
