This week you would have been 91 Dad.Thinking back to the lovely celebration we had for your 90th last year and missing you so much.

Although we only came into each others lives for 3 months, visiting Derek became the highlight of my week this year. I loved our chats, our games of chess, his kindness and his insistence in having the right cutlery set out for breakfast! He became like a surrogate father after losing my own, he never judged or criticised (only when I cam in my gym kit once!). I was privileged to be able to visit him in the care home and we enjoyed watching the rugby together, both sitting on his bed. How I wish I'd known him for longer - thanks to Nicki and family for letting me share him with you for a short while, he was very special xx

Trevor and Linda would like to offer our sincere condolences to Nicki and family. Brother, you will be missed- our weekly phone calls from Canada, our yearly and sometimes bi-yearly visits to see you in your cottage in Bathampton and our chats of our shared past which goes back 90 years. I will miss you and will remember the things we shared and the moments will remain in my archives of my memory bank. You lived a successful life, shared a marriage for 60 years and lived your life with many adventures and activities. Well done and Bon Voyage❤️

My deepest condolences Nic and Family. I have lovely and fond memories of your dad (and mom) when visiting Bath as a kid and when touring England as a young adult (many moons ago!). His quick wit as well as his pride in your accomplishments stand out in my memories. Fitting that his tribute photo has him raising a pint, and which I will do in his memory! So sorry for your loss.
