ChristineWICKENS(Jesmond) Peacefully on the 18th February aged 93 years, Christine, the beloved wife of the late Tony and also a much loved mum of Rupert, Tim and the late Justin and Kate. Christine will be very sadly missed by all her loving family and friends.

Would friends please meet for Requiem Mass at Holy Name RC Church, Jesmond on Friday 28th March at 1.30pm which will be followed by cremation at West Road Crematorium.

For many years Christine was a very active member of Pax Christi, the International Catholic Movement for Peace and with the Justice and Peace network in the H&N Diocese. I recall her commitment to interfaith work with women in particular. She often visited the Pax Christi office in London when visiting family and was always so positive and cheerful.

I’m so sorry to here of the death of Christine she was a lovely lady and always had a smile on her face when I knew her at Craghall Care Home my thoughts are with Tim and all the family at this sad time. Sending you all love and Deepest condolences. Love from Susan Short xxxx
