As today is the day we officially say goodbye, it’s the first time I’ve been able to bring myself to write this and actually accept that you’ve gone.

You have always been a constant in my life, just knowing that you were there down in ‘your’ Street and would always have an open door, a cup of tea and a listening ear ready whenever needed. I just can’t believe I won’t be able to do that again.

I’m forever honoured to have called you my Aunty and to have had you and Uncle Bob in my life. Further to that you’ve been a sister to my mum for so many years and I’ll always be grateful for the comfort, love and support that you have given her for as long as you have.

Sleep tight Aunty Le and give Uncle Bob a hug from me.

Your broken-hearted niece, Vicky x
