Gladys MayWISE (NEE FOLKES)Passed away at home surrounded by her loving family on 28th December 2021 aged 85 years. Wife of the late Trevor, devoted, dearly loved Mum and best friend of Suzanne, Nicola and the late Rebecca. Mother in law to Brian and Steve and most proud and adored Nanny to granddaughters Erica and Ellis. The Funeral Service will take place at Cheltenham Crematorium Oak Chapel on Thursday 20th January 2022 at 11.00am. Please wear something purple. Family flowers only, but donations if desired may be made to Brain Tumour Research or the Stroke Association. All enquiries to Ian George (Funerals) Ltd, 251 Gloucester Road, Cheltenham, GL51 8NW. I have just watched the wonderful service
The sun has really dried my tears away as the poem said , its 35 degrees today!
Although I kept crying new ones
You really did do my Aunty Glad proud Nikki, Suzanne and family
It was really nice to hear details of her wartime evacuation , I didn't know the details before now. , I cant imagine packing Ziggy up and sending him away for so long , it must have been so difficult for everyone
So glad I could be there so thanks guys for organising this online service xxx

PS we went to the B-B Beach this morning... Marie said to Ziggy its time for the B B Beach...
Its only recently she learnt where this is from...
So she is always with my family in that small way xx
