Sue and I met in 1994 when I joined the Press and attended my first Sales meeting in Cambridge. What followed were decades of cards, phone calls and visits. Sue was the most compassionate and kind person. She touched so many people all over the world and will be so missed. Sue will always be forever in all our hearts.

Sue brought so much joy into our lives. Will remember her as she lived - full of fine and enjoying the friendship of those she loved. We’ll miss her but won’t ever forget her

We met Sue when we were next door neighbours. She was always so kind and helpful, but above all she was just such GOOD FUN to be with!

I am so sad about the loss of a dear friend but will always treasure the memories I have travelling with Sue to the Kruger game park in South Africa. A first experience. Her childlike excitement and appreciation for the animals and the environment were heartwarming and so special. I am indebted to Sue for being part of my ‘family’ when I was in Cambridge on my own. I met Sue in Cambridge when my best friend from Genentech, Denise O'Hara, her 3 yr old, another friend and I toured Cambridge and England to visit Denise's Darwin College professors and friends. Sue's Neil had been advisor to Denise's then husband, Steven. Sue learned I was trying to help a brilliant Italian AIDS researcher (I worked at NIH) write journal articles in English--so Sue sent me MANY Cambridge Press "English as a 2nd Language" books--PERFECT. Then Neil got cancer and I sent information from the NIH Cancer Institute--she visited me, I visited her, we had many phone calls and emails. SO MANY THINGS remind me of Sue: white flowers, SHOPPING TIL WE DROPPED (here and in England--and she even drove me to Oxford once to a puzzle manufacturer). She lives on in all of us and our wonderful memories of shared experiences and who she was, and is! 😁
