JohnWOODPassed away peacefully on 7th July at Royal Derby Hospital at the age of 79. He was a much cherished father, grandfather and the beloved husband of the late Margaret Wood. Well respected publican of many pubs and clubs including The Phoenix in Gedling, The Miners Welfare in Mapperley, The Black Swan in Todmorden, The Royal Oak in Ilkeston and The Royal British Legion in Wollaton. The funeral will take place at Gedling Crematorium on 11th August 2023 at 12pm then afterwards the wake will be held at Mapperley Social Club. There will be a collection box for The Donkey Sanctuary if anyone wishes to make a donation.

Uncle John you will be sadly missed. I’ll always remember you being kind happy and jovial when ever we visited. My thoughts go out to those you have left behind. Always in our hearts. ❤️
