John LawrenceWOOLEYPeacefully on 4th October 2026 at his home, after a long illness, John aged 86 years. Dearly beloved husband to Janet, much loved dad to David and Debra, dear father-in-law to Sharon, treasured grandpop to Alicia, Samuel and Abigail, dear brother, brother-in-law, uncle and a very good friend, to many who will be sadly missed by all who knew him.

Service to be held at Grimsby Crematorium at Monday 26th October 2026 at 11.15am.

What a privilege to have known this kind and gentle man whom we first met in 1989 when Janet was childminding our children. His cheery and genuine interest in their well being was very much appreciated. Despite moving away we had the pleasure of their visit to us and been grateful to keep in touch ever since.
All our love and sympathies go out to Janet and family at this very sad time

What a privilege to have know John - a kind and gentle man who we first met in 1989 when Janet was childminding our children. His cheery and caring disposition was so very much appreciated and his caring and loving character has remained etched on our hearts ever since. Our sympathies and love go out to Janet and family at this very sad time.
