AliceMORLEYformerly of Ashworth Street, Bacup, died peacefully in Danesmoor Nursing Home, Haslingden, on Saturday, December 28, aged 92. A service was held at the Chapel of Rest on Friday, January 10 followed by cremation at Burnley conducted by Reverends Layla and Derek Allen. Born in Bacup where she lived all of her life, she had been employed as a secretary at various companies throughout the Rossendale Valley. Alice enjoyed gardening, crosswords, jigsaw puzzles and ballroom dancing. She leaves daughters Janet and Ann, son-inlaw Allen, four grandchildren, four great-grandchildren, two nieces, two nephews and many friends.
