Peasgood & Skeates was formed in 2012 as a merger between H. Peasgood & Son and R. Skeates. Established since 1847, H. Peasgood & Son have a long and proud history of serving the bereaved in their local community of Saffron Walden and surrounding areas. R. Skeates Funeral Directors was also a family run business based in Duxford, founded by Ron and Rosemary Skeates in 1965.
In 2014 we merged with the highly respected Cambridge Funeral Services, based on Newmarket Road. Their professional reputation in the city is second to none.
Our website has been developed to assist those making funeral arrangements. Should you need to speak to someone in person, we have trained staff available to help 24 hours a day - you only need to telephone. It is our aim to provide an efficient, dignified and respectful service to the bereaved and relieve you of the worry of the funeral arrangements.
Our Cambridge funeral home is well situated on Newmarket Road, with ample client parking.
Richard Spooner is the Funeral Manager and he is assisted by Funeral Directors Jenna Weeks and Ben Seward, along with other members of the dedicated team.
