ShirleyREDGRAVE(Nèe Gavin ) (Kelso, formerly Newcastle-upon Tyne, Old Windsor, Cookham, Berkshire) Shirley died peacefully on 23rd August 2026, aged 67, having faced her illness with great courage, grace and dignity. Much loved by her family and her many, many friends. She leaves six siblings and two step-daughters. Shirley was an enthusiastic and generous member of the Kelso community, giving her time and energy to support many local organisations as a volunteer, treasurer, secretary and participant. She made a real contribution to the community she loved and will be very greatly missed.

Following a private cremation, a celebration of Shirley's life will be held at St Andrew's Episcopal Church, Kelso, on Friday 9th October at 2pm, followed by a wake at Kelso Town Hall. All who knew Shirley are warmly invited to join us to remember her and celebrate a life very well lived.
