Funeral Notices hits historic milestone with five million notices published

We have reached new heights this week with the publication of our five millionth notice.

In recent years funeral-notices.co.uk has grown to become the go-to place for people to pay tribute to their loved ones by adding virtual candles, photographs, videos and messages of condolence. Tribute pages also come with the option to include an online charitable collection.

Families take comfort from their tribute page
Passing the five million notice milestone is bittersweet for Funeral Notices Director Darren Minns.

Darren said: "We deal with loss and bereavement every day and are incredibly sensitive to the needs of the people we support. Whilst we do not 'celebrate' this milestone as such, we are extremely proud that we are trusted by more than 5 million families to honour the legacy of their loved one.

"Being the most popular tribute site in the UK comes with a tremendous amount of responsibility and is something we take very seriously. Funeral Notices will always be a safe place for the bereaved to pay tribute to their loved ones."
Funeral Notices hosts an unrivalled audience every day, with some tribute pages amassing thousands of tributes and raising thousands for charities. That loyal audience is why Darren believes Funeral Notices is the number one site of its kind.

He said: "In 2022 we welcomed more than 12.6 million unique users* to the website. That's almost 20% of the adult population of the UK, and this audience puts us in a great position to help families achieve some fantastic collections for charity as well as receive important messages of support and condolence from friends and family around the world."

Darren says families love seeing the tributes on their pages and it really contributes to a lasting legacy for their loved ones. "I recently received some feedback from a lady who had sadly lost her granddaughter. She told me she found peace when adding tributes to her granddaughter's tribute page. She said 'It's like you have taken a weight off me and I get to say the things that I can't say out loud to her. I feel more peaceful and content afterwards.'

"Comments like that make our jobs worthwhile and is why we will continue to invest in funeral-notices.co.uk to ensure it remains the number one platform in the UK for people to pay tribute to their loved ones."

I knew Maureen and David who I knew as Vincent sr ,when their son was alive ,I use to ring their house all the time.... I hope that Sarah or David would like to speak to me ,I would be grateful to know how they both have been doing . I lost their house number and always wanted to get intouch with them both . I've sat and wondered how they both was doing ,when Sarah was a baby . So if they want to speak I will give them my number ,and we could share memories of vince ,Joanne, and the phone calls etc and laugh we use to have ,im so sorry you have had another heartache David ,but remember Maureen will be with them both now xxxx
