Maurice John Garner MbeHON CLLRPassed away peacefully at home aged 91, on Thursday 21st March 2019. Beloved Husband of the late Jean, dearly loved Father of Karen, Paul & Niki, Grandad to Bryony, Emily, Harri, Effy & Leonie, & Great Grandfather to Arlo. The greatest altruist, who will be sorely missed by his family, many friends, and everyone who knew him. All welcome at the Funeral & celebration of his life, which will be held at 1:00 pm on Friday 12th April at The West Chapel, Cambridge Crematorium. A fine man with great knowledge. Though a long time has passed I enjoyed very much the times Maurice assisted me and my family with his kind and often jovial assitance. All love to his family.

I knew Maurice and his good lady for a very long time. My father and he were associates whilst in local politics. I knew him also through his work at Crossman and Co. A truly lovely and gentle man. Surprised by the news of his passing. He will be missed.
