Did You Know You Could Claim Free Advertising on AND in One of Our Local Newsprint Titles?

Claiming your free advertising couldn't be easier. All you need to do is become a Preferred Partner of and we will arrange the adverts for you.

How Do I Become a Preferred Partner?

A Preferred Partner is a Funeral Director who has chosen to provide funeral notices on their own website.

It's really easy to set yourself up as a Preferred Partner in just a few simple steps.
We have put together this simple guide to show you how and help you claim your free advertising as a thank you!
  • Step One: Find Your Free Notice History Page
Hopefully you are aware that every notice you place with us appears on your own, personalised notice history page on This page provides the content that sits behind a 'Funeral Notices' button on your own website.

To find your notices page, you can either:
Look on your Dashboard when logged into and click 'Edit Personalised Notices Page'.

Go to our Find a Funeral Director search function here and enter your postcode to bring up your business listing page. On the right hand side of the page, under 'Recent Notices', scroll down and click on 'See all notices'.

Your Notice History Page should look something like this.

The colours around your business name and logo may be edited to match your branding and we provide four editable links back to your own website next to your telephone number (also clickable).
  • Step Two: Copy The URL of Your Free Notice History Page
Now that you are looking at your notice history page on screen, simply copy the URL from the web address bar at the top of the page and hold onto it; you will need this for the next and final step.
  • Step Three: Create A Funeral Notices Button on the Homepage of your own Website and Paste the Link
If you have access to edit your own website; simply create a new Funeral Notices button on your homepage like in our example below:
All Seasons Funeral Directors.

Paste the link to your Notice History Page behind the newly created Funeral Notices button and set it to open in a new window.

Here are a few more examples for you to look at:

Hopkinson Wootton Lovatt
Harry Dawson Funeral Services
A Slater & Sons

If you are unable to edit your own website, your web designer or even a savvy friend will be able to create a button and add the link in no time at all.

If you are still struggling or would prefer us to set up the button and link for you, please contact us and we will be happy to help.

The Link is Live - What Now?

Get in touch with us and let us know as soon as the link is live and we will do the rest.
We will send you over an initial draft of your Free Testimonial Advert that will appear for one week in the Reach Plc regional paper of your choice. As soon as we have your approval we will get it booked in for you.

As an extra thank you we will add your business logo and website details to an indexing advert we run in your local paper too.
We also create a free digital advert for your business.

This is designed by us and can be used to highlight any area of your business from flowers to funeral plans, stonemasonry or direct cremations. This advert appears on your Listings and Notice History Page as well as beneath every notice we publish for you - providing another backlink to your own website.

Did we Mention Free Online Notices Yet?

So you know that every Funeral Director may book free online notices for the duration of the pandemic, but did you know Preferred Partners can book free online notices for the rest of the year to ensure they may book a notice for every funeral they arrange?

'A notice for every funeral you arrange helps your families and your business.
An online notice is: a place where families come together to celebrate a life, share tributes, donations and memories; all the while displaying your logo, links to your website/listings page and a subtle way to remind your local communities you’re open for business'.

No Local Paper? No Problem

You can still take advantage of your notice history page populated with online notices which may be booked to any location in the UK. Your free Testimonial Advert will appear on either on the landing page of your closest Live site (eg Bedfordshire Live, Leeds Live etc.) or on the search return page of your nearest town/city.
