Find a Funeral Director searchable directory
As you know your business features in our online directory - Find a Funeral Director. Did you know that you can update the information on your listings page yourself anytime you choose to?

When logged in, go to the 'My Dashboard' page, on the left hand side click 'Edit listing page' - you can amend all of the information on there such as your opening hours and business images.

For support with this, please contact us and an Account Manager will be happy to help.

To check your listings page, pop your postcode into the search box here.

We provide you with an Online Performance Tool

My Online Performance
You might have noticed in your dashboard, at the top left hand side, we provide you with a tool to understand how many people are seeing your business listing page, how many notices you have published, how much your notices have raised in donations, number of visits to your notices and how many tributes people have added to your notices.

This is a really helpful tool to help you understand how your notices are received after publication, and the donation total is a helpful stat you might want to mention to families deciding whether to include a collection on their notice.

In the example shown, this Funeral Director is a 'Preferred Partner' (they use us to display their notices on their website) and so receive free advertising on funeral-notices.co.uk.

In this example their free adverts have received 55,338 impressions so far this week and almost 3 million in total (an impression is when a user sees the advert).

You can add Client Feedback to your Business Listing

Add positive feedback to your listings page
To the right hand side of your dashboard you may have noticed a place to add your client feedback. This is ideal to get any feedback onto your listing page - especially if you receive the feedback directly via a note, card or on another platform like Facebook.

You can add as much as you like on here and it really is a great tool that will have an impact on how our audience feels about your business when they view your listings page.

It's easy to add your feedback, simply click 'Add one today' and follow the instructions.

You can edit the buttons leading back to your own website

Edit the links that appear at the top of your listings and notices pages
From your dashboard, choose 'Edit personalised notices page' on the left hand side.

You will then see the personalised notices page we have created for you. As in the example to the left, each button available to edit will have a pencil icon next to it.

Click on the pencil and then insert a link back to a page on your own website, eg funeral plans. Rename the button 'Funeral Plans' and click update.

You can change these links as often as you choose.

Share your notices on your social media channels

Share your notices on social media or using messenger services
Some Funeral Directors share their notices on their own social media channels. This is quality content that needs little effort to create.

To share a notice to your Facebook, click on the Facebook icon in the blue box to the right hand side - in this example the box reads 'You can share Mark's notice with your friends and family'.

Once you click on the icon, a box will open prompting you to log into the relevant social media account.

It's really easy to share a notice
You can then add some wording to appear within the status update and click 'post to facebook'

This is a good opportunity for you to connect with your audience on social media. It is also helpful to understand how to share a notice to help you in assisting families to do the same.

As always, for any help with this, please get in touch.
