Funeral Notices new colour palette
We are excited to let you know about some changes we are making to our website. The Funeral Notice website continues to evolve, just as the wider funeral industry has.
The pandemic impacted the way society talks about death, dying and grief. The industry shed taboos, with a push for digital alternatives to traditional practices.
Online donations surged during the restrictions placed on funerals, as did the demand for online tribute sites.
The increased demand for online solutions is why we remain committed to evolving the user experience on Funeral Notices. Our focus remains on our audience and the bereaved, whilst remaining a valuable resource for Funeral Directors and charities.
The latest Funeral Notices upgrade is designed to make the site feel and look softer and increase accessibility making the site more inclusive.
With improved menu functionality, the site will be easier to navigate - helping families find their way around the site, and access valuable resources such as our blogs, grief support and Find a Funeral Director Directory.
The upgrade is designed with the bereaved in mind. We are softening the look of the site. The new colour palette is designed to improve accessibility for the visually impaired, whilst reflecting the sensitive nature of the valuable content we are honoured to host on behalf of families throughout the UK.
Our development team is busy working behind the scenes, hoping to have the upgraded site live by June 2024.
No, you will still book notices in the same way. Our branding on correspondence will change to reflect the new colour scheme. Any saved links you may have to access the platform will still work, and the name and URL remain the same.
We are sharing this sneak peek with you as valued partners of ours. We hope you will enjoy the site's improved look and feel, and your families will benefit from improved functionality and accessibility.
We will communicate the change to our registered users closer to the time.
Thank you for reading, we look forward to sharing the new look site with you this summer.
