How is it almost May already? This year we have three bank holiday weekends to work through, or hopefully enjoy.

The early May bank holiday falls on Monday 1st May. The Coronation of King Charles III is happening on Saturday 6th May, with Monday 8th May designated as a bank holiday.
The spring bank holiday is on Monday 29th May.

We hope many of you are able to take a break and enjoy some time out.

Deadlines and Opening Hours

All deadlines are unchanged by the bank holidays, however, there will be a slight change to our opening hours and means of contact.

On each bank holiday Monday, we will be available from 09.00 - 17.00 to contact via email only on fdteam@funeral-notices.co.uk

As usual, we will have people available throughout the weekend to check notices and our online booking service is available 24/7. You can book your own notices here.

What if I need a notice published straight away?

If you would like to book a notice whilst we are not open or need a notice online instantly, you can select 'upload immediately' on the date selection page of your booking. Your notice will be on funeral-notices.co.uk within 15 minutes ready for the family to share, add their loving tributes and make donations.

If you wish a notice to appear online immediately and in the paper, the date selection will default to the next available publishing day for the print version and our dedicated team of moderators will make sure it is correct in time for the print deadline.
We hope you are able to take some time out this May.
